Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 11-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Addison Trail for a West Suburban - Gold challenge on Monday, April 24. Willowbrook will battle a Blazers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Naperville Central falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a DuPage Valley challenge on Monday, April 24. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 5-10. Metea Valley won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
