Connecticut High School Softball - St. Bernard bounces Putnam

The St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) softball routed the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), 22-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Saints (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Norwich RVT notched a victory over Prince RVT (Hartford, CT), 16-3, in a league bout.
The Clippers now possess a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Wheeler for a non-league bout on Monday, April 24. Putnam will confront a Lions squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
