The Peoria Notre Dame Irish baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Danville Vikings to 7 in the Irish league victory on Monday.

The Irish (12-4) will now prepare for their match against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the Big Twelve match with a 12-10 record. In their last match, Champaign Central edged Centennial (Champaign, IL), 9-5, in a league match.

The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their match against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats go into the Big Twelve match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Normal West edged Maine South (Park Ridge, IL), 2-1, in a non-league match.
