The Miller City Wildcats baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Holgate Tigers to 4 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Rockets go into the Putnam County match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Pandora-Gilboa was overwhelmed by Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH), 10-1, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH). The Locomotives go into the Buckeye Border match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Montpelier was overwhelmed by Tinora (Defiance, OH), 7-1, in a non-league match.
