In Monday's league game, the host Southeast Halifax Trojans baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the KIPP Pride Pride.
The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their game against KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Pride go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, KIPP Pride was overwhelmed by Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 19-7, in a league game.
The Pride (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Southeast Halifax was overwhelmed by Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 20-0, in a league game.
