The PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays baseball team (Petersburg, IL), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Monday's league outing with the host New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL)

The Vipers now hold a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Plains for a Sangamo outing on Tuesday, April 23. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 9-8 league win over Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-2.
