The East Providence Townies held off the visiting Lincoln Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Townies now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilgrim for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 24. East Providence will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.

The Lions (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Pilgrim was nudged by East Providence (East Providence, RI), 3-0, in a non-league game.
