The BASIS Phoenix Firebirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans to 0 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Monday.

The Firebirds now have a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Christian for a 4A North Central game on Tuesday, April 23. BASIS Phoenix will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Crusaders record now stands at 30-3.

The Spartans (1-15) will now prepare for their game against American Leadership Academy - Anthem South (Florence, AZ). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 1-18 record. In their last game, American Leadership Academy - Anthem South dropped by Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
