In Monday's non-league game, the visiting La Cueva Bears baseball team scored a nice 14-2 victory over the Sandia Matadors.
The Bears (16-0) will now prepare for their game against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Sandia was overwhelmed by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 7-1, in a non-league game.
The Matadors (7-5) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 14-0 record. In their last game, La Cueva ran past Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 12-4, in a non-league game.
