Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 8-7 in a league battle.

The Lions now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 battle on Friday, April 26. Lincoln will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 15-4 league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Wednesday, April 24. Rogers will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 13-3 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
