Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uniontown for a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 24.

With the loss, Albert Gallatin falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA) to face the Warriors in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Friday, April 26. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Elizabeth Forward won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA)
