The crowd at Monday's league match between the Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) and the host Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA), saw Belmont's softball squad nip Winchester by a count of 12-5.

The Marauders now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge Rindge & Latin for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23. Belmont will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 32-20 non-league win over Brockton (Brockton, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

The Red & Black (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA). The Warriors come into the Middlesex test with a 0-3 record.
