The Governor Livingston Highlanders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Brearley Bears to 4 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Governor Livingston improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Johnson (Clark, NJ) to clash with the Crusaders in a UCC - Watchung game on Tuesday, April 23. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 5-6. Johnson lost 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) in a UCC - Mountain game, on Tuesday, April 23. Brearley will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
