In Monday's non-league test, the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Gobblers clash with the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley test, on Tuesday, April 23. Broadway will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Trailblazers go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).

The Flying Flucos (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the Jefferson test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Monticello prevailed over Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 2-0, in a league test.
