Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Commodores now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leslie County for a District 54 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Perry County Central will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Buckhorn falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 8-11.
