The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) and the host Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV), observed Ritchie County's softball team prevail over Calhoun by a tally of 23-0.

The Rebels (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils go into the Little Kanawha bout with a 20-1 record. In their last bout, St. Marys knocked off Wahama (Mason, WV), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
