Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA), 12-8 in a league challenge.

The Big Macs now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Allegheny for a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Canon-McMillan will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Mt. Lebanon falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Butler (Butler, PA) to battle the Golden Tornado in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Golden Tornado enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Butler lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)
