Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), 21-1 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chimacum for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Cascade Christian will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Vashon Island falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA) to battle the Vikings in a 1A Nisqually challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
