Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA), 3-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Cathedral Prep upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Ramblers travel to General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to play the Lancers in a District 10 Region 5 game on Tuesday, April 23. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 1-5. General McLane lost 20-4 in their recent league game against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Erie for a District 10 Region 5 game on Tuesday, April 23. Meadville will play a Royals squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-7.
