The Danville Vikings softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Centennial Chargers to 1 in the Vikings non-league win on Monday.

The Vikings now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richwoods for a Big Twelve battle on Tuesday, April 23. Danville will confront a Knights team coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Morton (Morton, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Centennial moves to 3-6 on the season. The Chargers host Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-13. Paxton-Buckley-Loda lost 17-1 in their recent league battle against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)
