Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Cavemen now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to NorthWood for a Northern Lakes challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Mishawaka will face a Panthers squad coming off a 19-2 league win over Warsaw (Warsaw, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Concord falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to face the Kingsmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Kingsmen enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Penn won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN)
