The Conneaut Area Eagles softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host General McLane Lancers to 4 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Conneaut Area moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Eagles host McDowell (Erie, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a District 10 Region 5 game on Saturday, April 27. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 5-5.
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 game, on Tuesday, April 23. General McLane will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Ramblers come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Meadville (Meadville, PA).
