Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Springs for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Marshall will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Cotter falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Flippin (Flippin, AR) to battle the Bobcats in a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-15. Flippin lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Cotter (Cotter, AR)
