Washington High School Softball - Monroe gets by Everett

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) and the visiting Everett Seagulls (Everett, WA), observed Monroe's softball squad hold off Everett by a count of 7-6.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge, on Wednesday, April 24. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bruins go into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 14-1 league win over Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA).

The Seagulls (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA). The Tomahawks go into the 2A/3A Wesco challenge with a 0-12 record. In their last challenge, Marysville-Pilchuck was nudged by Cascade (Everett, WA), 14-1, in a league challenge.
