Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting University Academy Charter Generals (Jersey City, NJ), 29-6 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Memorial for a HCIAL - National challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Ferris will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-14 league loss to McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, University Academy Charter falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ) to battle the Cougars in a HCIAL - National challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. McNair Academic won 15-14 in their recent league challenge against Memorial (West New York, NJ)
