Herkimer Magicians (Herkimer, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights (Frankfort, NY), 19-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Magicians now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central Valley Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25.

With the loss, Frankfort-Schuyler falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Maroon knights host Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY) to battle the Hawkeyes in a Section 3 Center State II challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Hawkeyes enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Cooperstown lost 21-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame (Utica, NY)
