Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles North for a DuKane challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Wheaton North will battle a North Stars squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The North Stars record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Geneva falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to battle the Fighting Saints in a DuKane challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Fighting Saints enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. St. Charles East won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Batavia (Batavia, IL)
