The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) and the visiting Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR), saw Gurdon's softball squad nip Glen Rose by a count of 19-12.

The Go-Devils now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fordyce for a 2A Region 8 match on Monday, April 22. Gurdon will face a Redbugs squad coming off a 27-12 league loss to Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Redbugs record now stands at 0-15.

With the loss, Glen Rose falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Beavers host Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to face the Knights in a 3A Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 23. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-14. Centerpoint lost 22-0 in their recent league match against Fouke (Fouke, AR)
