Puyallup Vikings (Puyallup, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (Graham, WA), 12-7 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Kitsap for a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Puyallup will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 12-7 league loss to Sumner (Sumner, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Graham-Kapowsin falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA) to battle the Jaguars in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Emerald Ridge won 20-3 in their recent league challenge against Curtis (University Place, WA)
