The Spooner Rails routed the host Ladysmith Lumberjacks softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Rails (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Bulldogs go into the Heart O'North battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser topped Cumberland (Cumberland, WI), 11-9, in a league battle.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Hayward for a Heart O'North battle on Tuesday, April 23. Ladysmith will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, WI). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-4.
