Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO), 6-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dora for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Houston (Houston, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 15-2. Houston won 16-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Alton (Alton, MO)
