The Logan Longhorns softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Pecos Panthers to 1 in the Longhorns league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Logan improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Clayton (Clayton, NM) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a A/2A District 6 game on Friday, May 3. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 3-7.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) in a A/2A District 6 game, on Thursday, April 25. Pecos will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 8-10 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM).
