In Monday's league outing, the host Madison Bulldogs softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Mount Abram Roadrunners.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a Class C South outing, on Wednesday, April 24. Madison will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Phoenix enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 10-0 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME).

The Roadrunners (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME). The Falcons enter the Class C South outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Mountain Valley was tipped by Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME), 18-4, in a league outing.
