In Monday's league match, the host Medomak Valley Panthers softball team scored a nice 17-0 victory over the Morse Shipbuilders.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles go into the Class B South match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lincoln Academy was routed by Brunswick (Brunswick, ME), 11-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Shipbuilders battle the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a Class B South match, on Wednesday, April 24. Morse will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 0-3 record after their 12-1 league loss to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).
