The West Central Area Knights softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Melrose Dutchmen to 6 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Central Area moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Knights host Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to clash with the Thunderhawks in a non-league game on Thursday, April 25. The Thunderhawks come into the game with a record of 1-6.

In their next game, the Dutchmen clash with the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 23. Melrose will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record.
