The Mendota Trojans softball team (Mendota, IL), was routed 20-1 in Monday's league test with the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL)

Coming up next, the Comets encounter the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a Three Rivers East test, on Wednesday, April 24. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Storm enter the test with a 10-5 record after their 10-3 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL).
