The crowd at Monday's league match between the Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) and the visiting Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD), saw Rising Sun's softball squad nip Patterson Mill by a count of 5-0.

The Tigers now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appoquinimink for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23.

With the loss, Patterson Mill falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The host Fallston (Fallston, MD) to face the Cougars in a Upper Chesapeake Bay match on Wednesday, April 24. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 8-4. Fallston won 11-7 in their recent league match against North East (North East, MD)
