In Monday's league contest, the Pendleton County Wildcat (Franklin, WV) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV), by a margin of 19-4.

With the triumph, Pendleton County moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Wildcat host Petersburg (Petersburg, WV) to play the Vikings in a Potomac Valley contest on Wednesday, April 24. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 7-4.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) in a Little Kanawha contest, on Friday, April 26. Tygarts Valley will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Highlanders come into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 20-1 league loss to Gilmer County (Glenville, WV).
