The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) and the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), observed Southern's softball team prevail over Ripley by a tally of 16-4.

The Tornadoes (10-3) will now prepare for their bout against Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the Tri-Valley - Hocking bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Belpre was routed by Fort Frye (Beverly, OH), 5-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Ripley will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 15-0 league loss to Riverside (Belle, WV).
