Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake View for a Chicago Public White North challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Schurz will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Prosser (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Von Steuben falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL) to face the Silver Streaks in a Chicago Public White North challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Silver Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Steinmetz College Prep lost 25-4 in their recent league challenge against Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL)
