The Alanson Vikings baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Posen Vikings to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Tuesday.

The Vikings now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ellsworth for a Northern Lakes test on Thursday, April 24. Alanson will play a Lancers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Posen drops to 0-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hillman (Hillman, MI) to play the Tigers in a North Star test on Monday, May 5. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 9-1.
