In Tuesday's league game, the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Amherst County Lancers.
The Cavaliers (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Seminole game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Liberty Christian defeated Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 4-3, in a league game.
Next, the Lancers face the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) in a Seminole game, on Friday, April 25. Amherst County will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Minutemen enter the game with a 1-9 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
