The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Riverton Rams (Riverton, KS) and the visiting Baxter Springs Lions (Baxter Springs, KS), saw Riverton's baseball team gain a win over Baxter Springs by a tally of 3-1.

The Rams (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Girard (Girard, KS). The Trojans enter the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Girard held off Frontenac (Frontenac, KS), 8-7, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Cherryvale Chargers (Cherryvale, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 24. Baxter Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 17-1 league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, KS).
