The Cheraw Braves baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting North Central Knights to 2 in the Braves league win on Tuesday.

The Braves now hold a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Darlington for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Cheraw will play a Falcons team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 5-10.

With the defeat, North Central drops to 1-18 on the year. The Knights host McBee (McBee, SC) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 15-3. McBee won 21-0 in their recent league test against Lee Central (Bishopville, SC)
