The Loris Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Georgetown Bulldogs to 2 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.
The Lions now hold a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richlands for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Loris will play a Blue Tornado team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Georgetown drops to 9-10 on the year. The Bulldogs host Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY) to play the Stanners in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Stanners go into the test with a record of 14-5. Archbishop Molloy lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Conway (Conway, SC)
