Michigan High School Baseball - Lakeland holds off Kettering

The Lakeland Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Kettering Captains to 2 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, April 25. Lakeland will play a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-6.

With the defeat, Kettering drops to 4-8 on the year. The Captains host Mott (Waterford, MI) to play the Corsairs in a Lakes Valley test on Friday, April 25. The Corsairs go into the test with a record of 1-15. Mott lost 22-0 in their recent league test against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI)
