The Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 8-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Knights now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Northridge will clash with a Dons team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Dons record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Lake Forest Academy drops to 2-8 on the year. The Caxys host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to clash with the Scouts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Scouts go into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Lake Forest won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL)
