Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Malvern Prep held off by Springside Chestnut Hill Academy

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA), 8-6 in a league match.

With the triumph, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy moves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) to battle the Churchmen in a PAISAA match on Tuesday, May 6. The Churchmen come into the match with a record of 10-6.

The Friars now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Georges Tech for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 23. Malvern Prep will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 21-1 league win over Christiana (Newark, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
