California High School Baseball - Mt. Pleasant edges Overfelt

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA), saw Mt. Pleasant's baseball team gain a win over Overfelt by a tally of 4-2.

The Cardinals (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against James Lick (San Jose, CA). The Comets enter the West Valley battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, James Lick held off Independence (San Jose, CA), 21-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Royals face the Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) in a West Valley battle, on Thursday, April 24. Overfelt will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 14-4 record after their 9-3 league win over Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).
