Rhode Island High School Baseball - South Kingstown holds off North Kingstown

The South Kingstown Rebels baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting North Kingstown Skippers to 7 in the Rebels league win on Tuesday.

The Rebels now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Hope for a Division 1 test on Thursday, April 24. South Kingstown will play a Huskies team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, North Kingstown drops to 6-2 on the year. The Skippers host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to play the Sentinels in a Division 1 test on Thursday, April 24. The Sentinels go into the test with a record of 5-4. Smithfield won 6-2 in their recent league test against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI)
